How can home care help me?

Our home care service tailors its services to each client. Greencrest Healthcare helps you live safely in your home, surrounded by your belongings and memories.

Our adaptable home care services range from a check-in visit to personal care to 24-hour or live-in care. Our team can provide short-term home care assistance after an illness or help you transition into long-term care. Our team designs this service to provide short-term support while your regular carer is on leave or at the beginning of your care journey, which may develop into long-term home care and support. Our home care assistants can:

Assist you in getting up, washing, dressing, and eating a nutritious breakfast.

Medication assistance; medication reminders and assistance; medication collection and return from your pharmacy or dispensing GP surgery

Mealtime: prepare meals alongside or for you, and assist you at mealtimes

We can help you with tasks like collecting your pension, shopping, and putting items away.

Household; assist with laundry, ironing and keeping your home clean and tidy.

Our home care assistants can assist with many tasks, such as collecting your pension, shopping, and participating in social outings like walks, visits to friends or family, and attendance at a day centre or club.

We offer personal care and pampering services, including helping with organizing new clothes, showers, bedding, and preparing dinner before bedtime. We also assist with getting ready for bed at the end of each day.

Respite Care

Respite care is often a short-term package of care provided by someone who is not your loved one's primary carer. Greencrest Health Care's respite care would be provided at their home, giving you, as their primary carer, time to relax and care for yourself so you can better care for them

Greencrest Healthcare understands the importance of self-care when caring for loved ones. Rest and recharge time are crucial, as is having someone you can rely on to look after your loved one. Our care assistants are dependable and empathetic, and they can give you peace of mind while you rest.

Night Care

Night Care at home is a vital component of Greencrest Healthcare's services. Our resolute team works through the night to ensure that our clients feel supported and always cared for.

The care assistant stays on the premises overnight, sleeping for a minimum of eight hours, and is available if needed. This option is appropriate if you do not require regular assistance but are uneasy being left alone throughout the night. A sleeping night care specialist can quickly alleviate anxiety and sleep deprivation. Additional night care at home may help you maintain your health and happiness. An awake night occurs when help is required more than twice during the night.

Live-in Care

When you require constant care, you may not want to add the burden of leaving familiar surroundings. Our live-in care service provides the comfort of 24-hour care and assistance in the privacy of your own home.
